Vice Ganda hails VP Leni & Mayor Vico : ‘Kontribusyon hindi kompetisyon’

Celebrities will always be a part of Philippine politics and vice versa.
This time of health crisis brought about by the novel coronavirus 2019 disease or COVID-19, perceived attacks at opposition politicians are making the politics in the country vibrant again amidst the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine.

One such celebrity and influencer is Kapamilya contract artist is Jose Marie Viceral or better known as “Vice Ganda.”

In his twitter account thanked Vice President Leni Robredo and Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto and everyone who has been tirelessly helping the country’s people during this time of COVID-19 pandemic.

The comedian emphasized that during these trying times for the country it is not a matter of competition.

“Kaisa ng mga pangkarinawang mamayan nagpapasalamat ako kina VP Leni Robredo at Mayor Vico Sotto at sa lahat ng mga walang habas sa pagkilos para maisalba at manatiling buhay ang mga Pilipino,” Vice said.

(Together with my fellow countrymen, I would like to thank Vice President Leni Robredo and Mayor Vico Sotto and everyone who have been tirelessly working to save and keep Filipinos alive.)

“Kaisa nyo kami (We are with you),” he added. “[Kontribusyon] hindi kompetisyon (Contribution, not competition).”

It may be recalled that the Vice President was called out by Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) Commissioner Manuelito Luna by her alleged competing with the national government with respect to the efforts being extended by the Office of the Vice President.
While, the young Pasig Mayor has been invited by the National Bureau Investigation to explain a possible violation of quarantine protocols under the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act.
