Vice President Leni Robredo has asked the
Duterte government to be more transparent with respect to the selection of
beneficiaries as local officials bear the brunt of criticisms over the delayed
distribution of cash aid under the Social Amelioration Program (SAP).
The
Vice President gave the suggestion that the list of the cash aid beneficiaries
should be made public to be away with the confusion among Filipinos restless
over the slow distribution of the cash aid.
“Mas maigi na alam— Iyong buong listahan ng makakakuha should be
nangangailangan kabahagi,” Robredo said in a television (April 27).

“Pero dahil hindi naman iyon kayang maabot lahat, baka it would
help everyone that the list be made public, para alam ng tao kung makakakuha
Robredo says the efficient and fast
distribution of the cash aid would not give Filipinos to go out of their houses
that would violate the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) protocols.
nagpupumilit pa rin siyang lumabas para maghanapbuhay,” she said.
