The
young mayor from Pasig is on the headlines again.
The
National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) sent an “invitation letter” to the
Pasig Mayor demanding him to explain his side after he supposedly violated
Republic Act 11469 or the Bayanihan to Heal As One Act in connection to the
allowing of tricycles to operate despite the banned on public transport.
Few
days ago the young Sotto has been trending in social media for the various
pro-active policies and programs regarding how he deals with his constituents
under the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) as declared for the entire island
of Luzon.

One
radio host and known President Rodrigo Roa Duterte supporter Mark Lopez criticized
the Pasig Mayor for taking the highlights by the different media hype that has
the intention to make him more famous instead of the likes of other Local Government
Unit heads like those of in Marikina and Cainta.
“Hindi naman Mayor ng Pasig yan
eh…Mayor yan ng media… Maglolokohan pa ba tayo?””
“Hindi nyo na maloloko ang Pilipino.
Yang trending ng Mayor nyo sa twitter? Paid media plan yan, pareho ng kay
Leni,” said Lopez.
Lopez even called out Sotto’s camp
for using the trolls in attacking those who criticizes the mayor, he even
advised that Sotto should hire a true “PR handler” instead of relying an army
of trolls for his media presence.

Trending
daw ako?
See Mayor how stupid your PR Comms is? Biruin mo
There is a big difference between authentic public
service versus hype and hollow rhetoric.
And kitang kita naman yan.
