Harry Roque back as Pres. Duterte's spokesperson

He’s back!!!
Harry Roque is returning to Malcanang to be President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s spokesperson just as the country is facing this pandemic brought about by the novel coronavirus 2019 disease or COVID-19.

It was in 2018 when Roque left his post as spokesperson, he’s position when he comes back is with a rank of Secretary.

Salvador Panelo who will vacate the post will remain as the Presidential Legal Adviser of the President.
"I will be performing the same role as the President’s chief lawyer and issuing statements as such," Panelo said.
Asked why the sudden changes, Panelo said "the present crisis requires a new tack in messaging."

Prior to joining the President’s cabinet Roque an activist-lawyer who would always represent marginalized sectors of the society. He was also a former partylist representative of the Kabayan partylist group in the House of Representatives before he was tapped by President Rodrigo Duterte to be his spokesperson.
In the last midterm elections he resigned his post and run for Senator, but he later withdrew due to health reasons.
