Duterte tells foreigners violating ECQ: umalis na po kayo ng Pilipinas!

The coronavirus does not distinguish a foreigner and a local in any country, do there is no reason for a special treatment of one against the other.

Malacanang just made it clear, Foreigners who will not follow or ignore the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) rules are ‘free’ to leave the Philippines.

“Ang mensahe po ng Presidente, ang ECQ po ipatutupad sa lahat— sa mayaman, sa mahirap, sa Pilipino, o sa dayuhan,” Roque said in an online press conference.

(The President’s message is that the ECQ covers all— the rich, the poor, to Filipinos, and to foreigners.)

“Kung ayaw niyo pong tumupad diyan lalong-lalo na ‘yung mga dayuhan, umalis na po kayo ng  Pilipinas. You are free to go,” he added.

(If you do not want to follow, especially the foreigners, just leave the Philippines. You are free to go.)

This was brought about when policemen allegedly stormed a condominium compound I Taguig City to enforce enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) guidelines.

This prompted foreigners residing in the condominium to plan on filing a complaint against the members of the PNP.

Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Archie Gamboa has already made it clear that they are ready to defend themselves from allegations of trespassing.

The PNP Chief said that the police entered the building after receiving requests from other residents to check on the condominium complex as some people there are allegedly violating the social distancing rule as set by the national government.
