Do not taunt the President.
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte in his
televised public address that he might just declare Martial Law should lawless
violence involving the communist rebels persists.
Duterte gave the warning as reports have
been coming in were soldiers are being gunned down while performing escort
duties with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) who are
just providing relief goods and the distribution of the Social Amelioration
Program (SAP) to rightful recipients.
“Kaya ngayon ‘pag nagpatuloy kayo ng
lawlessness niyo, patay dito, patay doon, maybe I will declare martial law
because kayong mga NPA ang numero uno,” Pres. Duterte said.
