Hangin lahat ‘yan!, kaninong bayag mo ‘yan makuha?! - Duterte hits mga ‘ulol’ na Congressmen's remark on P300B Covid-19 fund

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has switched gears and answered Deputy Minority Leader Carlos Zarate who alleges along with Bayan Muna member, former Rep. Neri Colmenares there is P300 billion funds in the 2020 budget that could be realigned to feed the millions of Filipinos affected by the Luzon-wide quarantine.

Duterte urged Filipinos not believe the two leftist boneheads from Congress.

Duterte explained that while the P4.1 trillion budget was laid out the previous year, the funds to bankroll it have yet to be collected in the second quarter this year. With the economy in paralysis a few weeks before the deadline for income tax collection in April, Duterte said he has no idea if the revenue collections assumed in 2019 would still hold.

“It’s not there. Magkokolekta pa ako. Ngayon, masunod ba ‘yung collection mo? Hindi. Bakit? Wala na, ang ekonomiya patay. Walang negosyo. Walang nagbayad. Wala ‘yung nagtatrabaho na kaltasan ‘yung sweldo nila. There’s no source of income now. If you decide to listen to the insane, (self-proclaimed Philippine president Elly) Pamatong and company, pati ‘yung congressman diyan, eh ‘di doon kayo,” he added.

A few days back Zarate has slammed President Duterte because Congress already made a law for the later to realigned funds for the national government’s efforts against the novel coronavirus 2019 disease or COVID-19, its just that he was just too slow in deploying this money.
