The newly appointed Argao Police chief has made social
media buzzing, netizens just cant get enough of the new police chief.
Police captain Elstone Dabon, Jr. will replace the
disgraced Major Ildefonso Miranda Jr. as the new chief of Argao Police Station
after the latter was relieved from his post and arrested.
Miranda was apprehended by operatives of the Philippine
National Police Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (IMEG) at the police
station in Barangay Poblacion at around 11:20 p.m, he was caught sleeping with
a 23 year old female detainee at his quarters.

Another female detainee was also found sleeping in
Miranda’s office.
PNP-IMEG said the 46 year old police official was
allegedly having a sexual relationship with the inmate “in exchange for her
privilege to sleep in his air-conditioned office.” The other detainee acts as
Miranda’s “helper.”
According to Bohol Island News, Dabon was a former deputy
station commander at Abellana Police Station and was also assigned at Regional
Intelligence Division in Central Visayas (RID-7).
Photos of the new Argao police chief has been
circulating online and netizens were quick to notice not the police appointment
but apparently good looks drew most comments.
