San Miguel Corporation (SMC) recently revived the 1970’s famous vitamin-enriched Nutribun bread for distribution to communities (LGU’s), checkpoints and hospitals within Metro Manila, while the enhanced community quarantine is in effect.

Also because of COVID-19, SMC subsidiary Ginebra San Miguel (GSM) retooled its company to produce 70% ethyl alcohol and plan to distribute them for free to communities through LGUs in their effort to help fight the spread of COVID 19, saying, “We have the means and capability to produce this, and make it available for free to LGUs and public hospitals. We are working on getting the necessary clearance from the relevant government agencies, to produce this for public use.”
