Help from various friendly countries are coming in,
all with the intention of helping the government in stopping the spreading of
the novel coronavirus disease or COVID-19. Singapore will

said that according to Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Teodoro
Locsin, Jr. Singapore will donate 3,000 testing kits for the coronavirus
disease 2019 (Covid-19) and one polymerase chain reaction (PCR) machine.
The DFA Secretary made the announcement in his
Twitter account.

A day earlier Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian
turned over a total of 100,000 Covid-19 test kits to Locsin and representatives
of the Department of Health (DOH).
Not only the test kits were donated by the Chinese,
they also gave at least 10,000 pieces of N95 masks, 100,000 surgical masks, and
10,000 personal protective equipment.
Earlier
this week, Alibaba’s founder Jack MA through Senator Manny Pacquaio donated 600,000
face masks to various frontliners serving the country amid the Covid-19
pandemic.
Pacquiao donated about 100,000 face masks to the Philippine National
Police; 50,000 to the Armed Forces of the Philippines; 75,000 to the Research
Institute for Tropical Medicine; 75,000 to the DOH; 75,000 to the Metropolitan
Manila Development Authority (MMDA); and 50,000 to other medical workers.
Pacquiao also donated five buses to MMDA for the transportation of
health workers and other frontliners
