PLA is the unified branches of the military of China – land, air, and sea and is considered to be one of the largest in the world.
Department
of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año has already ordered the PNP
to investigate the alleged presence of atleast 3,000 members of the Chinese PLA
who may have sneaked into the country by posing as Philippine online gaming
operation (Pogo) workers.
The
idea of members of the PLA abounds in the country when police seized PLA identification
cards from two suspects in the slay of Yin Jian Tao, who
was shot in a VIP room of a restaurant in the city of Makati.
The
Chinese embassy in a statement last week said that the incidents of money
laundering and illegal pornography committed by Chinese individuals in the country
are only “isolated incidents.”
