The “enhanced community quarantine” declaration by the Duterte administration was brought about by the intent to put to a stop the spreading of the novel coronavirus 2019 disease or COVID-19.
Along with the declaration was the direct order from President Rodrigo Roa Duterte for all local governments to follow the set guidelines and protocols set forth by the national government as recommended by the Inter Agency Task Force which is headed by the Department of Health.

So when it was the Local Government Unit’s turn to do what is expected to them in their respective jurisdictions, its bound to be compared with the other LGU’s -best practices are highly commended and traditional politician or “trapo” moves are being slammed in this time of crisis.

Eco bags were like political campaign materials in this time of medical emergency emblazoned with “Joy ng Bayan” on large fonts as when compared for example in the city’s of Pasig and Marikina – it was prepared in a neutral bag for everybody.
Belmonte had this for an excuse:

madaling panahon,” said Belmonte on DZMM radio.
Sorry
to those na-offend,” said the former three-term vice mayor and
daughter of QC Rep. Sonny Belmonte.
