We all know that
ABS-CBN is a Lopez owned media outfit, but since it is also incorporated it has
its own stockholders who have bought the shares of the company.
Now that ABS-CBN’s franchise
renewal is in crisis, the first to be hit by its non renewal are the
stockholders as evidenced by the downturn trend of the value of the ABS-CBN
shares in the stock market.
For purposes of
informing the public, a lot of celebrities have invested in ABS-CBN so they are
also the ones who will also lose a lot of money if the franchise is not
renewed.
