"Wag namang huhusgahan ‘yung lahat na mga Chinese citizens" amid fears of 2019-nCoV - VP Leni

Vice President Maria Leonora “Leni” Robredo is calling on all Filipinos to be more respectful and not to discriminate towards Chinese nationals living in the Philippines, including thise of Filipino-Chinese community, amidst the 2019- Novel Coronavirus Acute Respiratory Disease (2019-nCoV ARD).

“Dapat nga mas sympathetic tayo du’n sa mga nandoon sa, kumbaga, in the line of fire,” Robredo said on her weekly radio show on Sunday (February 2).

The Vice President understands the situation of Filipinos that wish to be careful against the 2019- Novel Coronavirus Acute Respiratory Disease (2019-nCoV ARD). However, Chinese citizens should not be outrightly judged just because the outbreak of the nCoV is from Wuhan City, Hubei, China.
