UST alumnus Open Letter to ABS-CBN (that is Worth reading and spreading...)

An open letter addressed to the Television giant ABS-CBN, who is now facing the termination of its 25 year old franchise on March 20,2020.
In his open letter he has strong words for the media outfit who is like someone who is part of the Philippine society that has vested rights as such.

The University of Santo Tomas student made it clear for ABS-CBN to understand that they don’t own any license, it is owned by the Philippines.

He also made it very simple – “a Franchise is not a right but a privilege”And that as a privilege  it is subject for assessment, investigation, revocation, award or suspension.
“Don't also project that you are the representative of Freedom of the Press.
For the full appreciation and for the sake of public information, truthfulness and clarity, we have quoted such open letter of Mr. Joe Smith Medina below.

Dear ABS-CBN,
You don't own the license, it's owned by the Philippines. Katulad ng alinmang lisensya ito ay pinahihiram lang sa atin ng estado na kahit kelan ay pwedeng kunin din ng estado.

We are reminding you that Franchise is not a right but a privilege. As a privilege it is subject for assessment, investigation, revocation, award or suspension. Don't also project that you are the representative of Freedom of the Press.

Don't pressure the Philippines and its institutions for the sake of your business which spreads propaganda, fake news and editorial broadcasting.

Your issue isn't important, the pressing issues now are about improving the lives of the Filipinos, liberating our economy and most of all distributing the fruit of our economy to the Filipinos.
Our Freedom of the Press is very liberated, whimsical and overwhelming. We have lawfully detained Senator De Lima who keeps sending false news to American Senate, we have rebellious Senator Trillanes who has freedom to Vlog, we have Rapppler and TV5 which are still attacking President Duterte, we have Senators and Congessmen who bypassed most of the appointees of President Duterte, we have Fake Vice President who keeps spreading fake news regarding drug war, and a lot.... Our democracy is very liberated... Overabused and under Duterte, the freedom of expression is very vibrant....

Thanks,Joe Smith Medina
