“There are things that are important
and there are things that are urgent. Making the right decision for the right
reason at the right time is what separates a true leader from all the rest of
them,” Lacson said on February 6.

“When the leader falls short of his
mission, he does not look for scapegoats. He takes immediate steps and
rectifies. Still failing, he simply assumes responsibility. That is leadership,”
