The celebrities are all coming out and being public for
their support for the beleaguered media outfit – ABS-CBN.
The tv giant is no where near being renewed since all the
1 bills asking for its renewal is still pending in the House of Representatives
and that the Supreme Court (SC) has already asked the station to comment
regarding the quo warranto petition filed by Solicitor General Jose Calida
calling for the revocation of its franchise.
Regine Velasquez, one of the artist the station took the
social media route in making known her support and call for the renewal of
ABS-CBN’s legislative franchise.

She wrote, unedited: “Pano ako
kakanta kung wala ng ASAP??? Totoo bang magsasara na ang ABS-CBN?? Isa po ito
sa mga tanong ng nakakarami. TOTOO PO!!!!!!! Anong ibigsabihin nito???? Hindi
na po natin mapapanood si Cardo!!!!!!! Hindi na natin malalaman pa kung ano ang
mayayari sa Love thy woman at Iba pang teleseryeng napalapit na sa mga puso
nating lahat.
“Hindi na natin makikita si
Sarah umawit at yumugyug saliw ng TALA. Hindi na natin makikita sila
Mori,Ange,KZ ,Moi Jona at iba pang magaling na mangaawit bumirit ng libre.
Hindi na tayo matatawa kay Alex at Ate nya. Hindi na tayo mapapatawa at
mabibigyan ng kasiyahan ni Vice Ganda!!!!!!
“Hindi na tayo makaka discover
ng mga bagong mang aawit, bagong idolo. Na makapagbabago sa buhay ng mga napaka
talentong mga kabataan natin. Hindi na natin mapapanod ng libre ang KathNiel,
LizQuen at MayWard.”
She then made a comment regarding the public service that
ABS-CBN is known for.
She said: “Higit sa lahat wala
ng BALITA at importanting impormasyon tayong mapapanood. Alam kong sasabihin
nyo meron pa namang ibang networks tama kayo and akin lang naman diba parang
tinanggalan tayo ng kalayaang pumili ng gusto natin mapanood??
“Maganda rin may pinag pipilian
ka dahil alam ng networks yun kaya pinagbubuti talaga ang bawat palabas na
mapapanood natin. Higit pa dun may laya ang bawat mamamayan pumili kung ano ang
makapagpapasaya sa kanila. Ang ibig sabihin TAYO ANG PANALO dahil ito ay
LIBRE.”
Velasquez transferred to ABS-CBN from GMA last October of
2018, in her short span of tenure she has endeared herself to the station and
thankful for the break and support she gets from it.
“Bagamat ako po ay bago pa
lamang naninirahan sa tahanang Ito ako naman po ay itinuring totoong kapamilya.
Naliligalig din po ako dahil nakasalalay din po ang aming kabuhayan sa ABS-CBN.
Naisip ko tuloy..... na kung ako ay naliligalig pano pa ang iba na dito talaga
nakasalalay ang buhay nila at pamilya nila,” she said.
“Siguro hindi natin
mararamdaman agad pag wala at tuluyan na ngang isara ang network. Pero sa kalaunan
mararamdaman natin na tayo pala ay natanggalan ng KARAPATAN. Siguro maliit na
bagay ito para sayo pero sa amin personal Ito. #wagisaraangabscbn,” Velasquez
said.
