‘Plot to oust Duterte will not succeed’

A few weeks ago with the ever changing political landscape in the country, some of the detractors of the President floated in the media that there is a big ouster plot as against Duterte.

They have branded the President Duterte as a dictator with regard to the issues surrounding the franchise renewal of TV giant ABS-CBN.

They critics has tagged the President for direct violation of the freedom of the Press because for two reasons 1-  the seemingly non-movement of the 11 bills pending in the House of Representatives, fully knowing that the date of termination of the franchise this coming March 20, and 2- the act of the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) in filing a quo warranto petition seeking the termination of the ABS-CBN franchise for alleged abuses and violation of the provisions as granted in the franchise.

“We assure the public that there is no such thing that will be supported by the PNP and AFP,” he told reporters

“How can we not succeed with the high rating of the President?” he pointed out.
The PNP chief said there were no intel reports of groups threatening to disrupt the People Power Revolution anniversary today. February 25.
