Ethel slams Mocha, after latter's rant against Grace Poe's hearing: "Mas aksaya pasweldo syo"

Actress and Commedienne Ethel Booba is known for someone who always makes her opinions known specially via the social media platforms.

This time she chided Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) deputy administrator Mocha Uson after the latter slammed the Senate for deferring a plenary session tomorrow, Feb. 24, to give way to the ABS-CBN franchise renewal hearing.

In Mocha’s Twitter account she posted:

“Ganito inaaksaya ng Senado ang pera ng bayan para lang mapagtanggol ang mga oligarch, Alam naman natin na walang saysay ang hearing dahil dapat mauna ang House.”

(This is how the Senate wastes public funds just to defend oligarchs. We know that the hearing has no significance because the House should go first.)

“Sipsip to the max na ang mga kakampi ng oligarch (The allies of the oligarchs are brown-nosing to the max),” Uson added.

The issue Uson was referring to the insistence of senator Grace Poe to start the deliberations of the franchise renewal under her committee despite the fact that all franchise issues must start from the House of Representatives. Poe adds that this is ok as long as she would not yet release a committee report on the issue.

Ethel later reshared Uson’s post on her own Twitter page earlier today, Feb. 23.

“Cyst mas malaki ang [naaksayang] pera ng bayan sa pasweldo sayo sa pagtatanggol mo sa mga politiko,” she said. “Alam naman natin na di yun ang job description mo. Sipsip to the max. Charot!”

(Sis, more public funds have been wasted to pay you for your defense of politicians. We know that is not part of your job description. Brown-noser to the max. Charot!)

Mocha has been known as a Duterte supporter and was appointed by the President as deputy administrator of OWWA last year. She previously served as assistant secretary of the Presidential Communications Operations Office.
