Malacanang has something to say against detained opposition
senator Leila De Lima as regards the latter reportedly sending a list through
the US embassy here in Manila.
The list contains the names of those government officials that are involved or has something to do with her detention in Camp Crame, and which will be banned from entering the US territory.

Atty.Salvador Panelo. President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s
spokesman and current Presidential Legal Counsel has opined that the detained
senator should have included her name in that list she submitted as she is also
an alleged human rights violator.

“You must remember na ‘yung (that the) amendment refers to
violators of human rights, di umano (allegedly). Eh allegedly she’s one of
those victims but she is forgetting that she is also a violator of human rights
kaya nga siya nakademanda eh (that’s why there are charges against her),” Panelo said in a palace
briefing.
“Kung hindi niya nilagay ‘yung pangalan niya dun na number one, eh mali ‘yung listahan niya. Kasama siya dun dapat,” he added.

(if she’s not included in her own list, then
that list is incorrect. She should be included.)
Earlier it was reported that De Lima already sent the list, however she refuses to divulge the names or even the number of personalities included in the list she drafted.
Spearheaded by senators Dick Durbin and Patrick Leahy and was
likewise supported by Senator Edward Mackey, US President Donald
Trump has signed into a law a US spending bill which includes a provision
banning the entry of Philippine officials supposedly behind De Lima’s
“wrongful” detention.
