Jay Sonza's open letter to Congress re the possible agenda of those solons supporting ABS-CBN

The crack they say have started in the super majority of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte in the House of Representatives when some of his allies have openly and publicly supported and called for the renewal of the legislative franchise ABS-CBN which will mature this coming March.

Veteran broadcaster and former ABS-CBN talent in his open letter in his Facebook account has addressed Palawan 1st district representative Franz Alvarez regarding some of the personalities who have made known their support for the renewal of the legislative franchise of the tv network whom a lot have called to be biased and have committed taxable fraud action to the detriment of the Philippine government.

Full quote of the letter of Mr. Sonza can be read below:

while I am an idealist, I am also a realist. That is the reason why I do not begrudged the following solons for supporting the franchise extension of abs cbn.

1. Rep. Rosemarie "Baby" Arenas of Pangasinan. When she was a young lady, she worked as an executive assistant/secretary to the Lopez patriarch for the longest time. Kaya madaling intindihin kung bakit suportado niya ang pamilya Lopez.

Pangalawa, there seems to be a falling out between Pres. Fidel Ramos and Mayor Digong Duterte over the water concession agreement which Ramos authored. Baby and Fidel have a rather colorful past that perhaps mattered most. Iba ang may pinagsamahan siyempre.

2. Rep. Vilma Santos-Recto of Batangas. Naintindihan ko ang damdamin ng isang magulang. She needs to look after the welfare of her son Luis whose livelihood is anchored on his job with the network. Dagdag pa riyan, iyong kanyang mamanugangin na ni Jessy Mendiola ay artista din ng kapamilya network.

3. Rep. Michaela Violago of Nueva Ecija. She is just being consistent with her unfinished business. Siya ang nag-iisang nagsampa ng panukulang franchise extension bill in the last Congress which did not pass.

4. Sen. Ralph Recto. He is the husband of Vilma Santos and step-dad of Lucky. A very efficient former chairman of the "ways and means" committee in the Senate.

5. Sen. Francis Pangilinan. He is the husband of Sharon Cuneta, a contract artist of abs cbn and father of a budding singer Francine who appears on channel 2 once in a while.

6. Rep. Sol Aragones of Laguna. She was a former reporter of the news programs of the network. I have no idea of what else is her motivation.

7. Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano of Taguig City. His father Rene Companero used to do radio public service program over at DZMM. He is investing for future political undertaking perhaps. Alan is a political animal so to speak.

As to the other proponents, I can't say the same things. I am not privy as to their own agenda or consideration, except for the fact that they are practical politicians.
