“The public should reject this balimbing. He is lying and he knows it,” Pangilinan on Sabio

“The public should reject this balimbing. He is lying and he knows it,” Pangilinan on Sabio

Liberal Party stalwart Senator Francis Pangilinan strongly reacts to the personal withdrawal of lawyer Jude Sabio of the complaint filed in the International Criminal Court (ICC) wherein it charges President Rodrigo Roa Duterte on the alleged lapses in the country's ongoing relentless anti-illegal drug campaign.

He calls on the public to reject “double-faced” individuals like Atty. Jude Sabio, the opposition senator said.

Pangilinan said Sabio has lost his credibility after he turned his back against efforts to seek justice for the alleged human victims of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte under his administrations war on drugs.

“After his ‘180-degree turn’ he has no credibility whatsoever,” Pangilinan said in a statement.
“The public should reject this balimbing. He is lying and he knows it,” the president of the Liberal Party (LP) said.
Pangilinan said the bodies of thousands of Filipinos who were victims of extrajudicial killing (EJK) were “proof of a man-made disaster, if not mass murder as government policy, that the ICC is mandated to investigate and address.”

“There has been a series of natural disasters, from the successive earthquakes in Mindanao, the Christmas typhoon, and the latest Taal eruption,” the opposition senator said.
“Instead of political attacks by the administration, everyone should be focusing on the tens of thousands of our affected kababayans whose lives have been dramatically changed and whose livelihoods have been severely affected, lalong-lalo na ang mga magsasaka at mangingisda,” he said.
