There
is more to life, most especially after the life of an armed struggle fighting for
a dead ideology.
A
rebel returnee who goes by the alias of “Kim”, hailing from Pagadian, Zamboanga
del Sur, is
giving herself a new lease in life, as she is scheduled to graduate from senior
high school this coming March and is planning to take business and finance in
college.
Kim
is but one of the thousands who availed of the government’s Enhanced
Comprehensive Local Integration Program or E-CLIP, which is being administered
by Task Force "Balik Loob", the Department of National Defense (DND)
said.

Kim
wasn just apart of the many people who have turned a new life , she and other
rebels have Duterte and some ally senators have given them a fresh start in
life.
Her foray in the red communists started when she she was asked
to attend indoctrination sessions, which escalated into her being a medic
tasked to care for wounded and sick New People's Army (NPA) fighters.
Kim said she regretted this decision as this forced
her away from her family and her studies.
DND spokesperson Arsenio Andolong said Kim is now
enjoying E-CLIP benefits, such as housing, livelihood,
Kim is also being supported and protected by a
nearby Army unit while studying.
Spearheaded by the Philippine Army with the help of
rebel returnees like Dylan prevent other youths from being lured by the false
promises of the communist rebel movement.
Oher than the Philippines, other countries like United
States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and New
Zealand, has tagged the Communist Party of Philippines -New People’s
Army(CPP-NPA) as a terror group.
