Cancellation of Bato's US visa 'insults PH sovereignty' - DFA Sec. Locsin

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)  Secretary Teodoro Locsin, Jr. thinks the cancellation of senator  Ronald dela Rosa’s visa has no justification of whatsoever.
In one of his tweet Secretary Locsin claims that "the intention of the US to cancel Dela Rosa's visa is to insult Philippine sovereignty."

"The scale of the stupidity and hypocrisy is breathtaking,” he said.
The statement of the DFA Secretary comes after the former Philippine National Police chief said he will not file a plea to the US government for the reinstatement of his visa.

“Hindi naman tayo mayabang na magdedemand. Kung ayaw mo, di huwag nyo. If you don’t like me, I don’t like you also,” Dela Rosa said.
Dela Rosa who was the Chief PNP then was the architect of the relentless and brutal war on illegal drugs by the Duterte administration, apparently the US (some) has taken against him for the alleged violations of human rights in the implementation of the anti-illegal drugs campaign of the government.

President Duterte threatened the termination of the Visiting Forces Agreement (VFA) if Washington will not correct the wrong it has done to senator Dela Rosa.
