The President made his order simple and very
clear for the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) most especially the
Philippine Navy (PN) to carry out.
The Philippine Navy with the acquisition of new
ships has just been ordered by their Commander in Chief to to eliminate pirates
in the Sulu and Celebes seas to stop the problem of piracy in the waters.
"If they (Philippine Navy) are positive that they
(suspects) are pirates, you blow them to kingdom come," Duterte said
during the Bonifacio Day celebration at the Andres Bonifacio Monument in
Caloocan.

"Patayin niyo na lahat para matapos na ang problema ko
at ng Pilipino," he added
It might be
recalled that Pres. Duterte had a meeting with his counterparts from Indonesia
and Malaysia, president Joko Widodo and prime minister Mahathir Bin Mohamad respectively they
discussed about forming a task group to hunt pirates lurking the waters
bordering their countries.
"I said
it's high time that we form a task force, not to intrude into waters of other
countries, but just to patrol your waters incessantly and accurately," the
President said.
Malaysia, Indonesia, and the
Philippines have been conducting naval patrols in the Sulu Sea since 2017 to
curb cross-border kidnapping-for-ransom activities in the area.
