It’s a classic crab mentality when you try to pull someone down instead of helping him achieve it.

It’s the same in the staging the 30th Southeast Asian Games in our home soil, the ideal set up is for our political leaders to set as their differences and concentrate in the staging/hosting of the regional games and making it sure we have done everything to make this one a success.

Days before the formal opening of the biennial games, hitches and mishaps has been experienced some visiting athletes from our Southeast Asian neighbors cannot be overlooked and should be corrected immediately.

Myanmar’s Mens Football National team Coach Velizar Popov made himself available in burning some local press people from the host country. He said that the issue surrounding the hitches in the initial staging of the biennial meet is not a big deal and would not like to talk about it.

ABS-CBN was able to have a chance to interview Popov and was asked out the discomfort as regards their accommodations upon arrival in the country, which was sensationalized by the mainstream media to paint a picture that is bad for the leaders concerned in this current administration.

“That’s a small issue for me. It is a big deal and I don’t want to talk more about it because it is not the main thing of the instrument.”

Philippine Women's National Football Team (PWNFT) head coach Let Dimzonalong with other coaches of the six participating countries in the women’s football tournament, complained of the quality of meals to them in their lodging in Silang, Cavite

"The quality and quantity of the food is not enough. Sa variety din," Dimzon said.
