achievement in just a few days, something that cannot be achieved even by
officials in other countries.
The courtesy call was Harpaz's second visit, he
said.
As a sign of Moreno’s appreciation to Israel’s envoy, he
presented him the key to the city, saying that the ambassador is welcome
anytime.
He also thanked the ambassador for his continued help to the
nation’s capital.
Mayor Isko Moreno added that as a Catholic, he is
excited about visiting Israel soon.
Ambassador Harpaz said he is looking forward to
Moreno's visit to Israel soon.
Previously, US Ambassador to the Philippines Sung Kim cannot
hide his admiration to the young local chief executive that he called him a
“total rock star.”
“You bring new dynamism and energies to your
position,” Kim said.
Japanese ambassador to Philippines Koji Haneda in his courtesy call with Morena said: “I am
impressed with your achievements for the City in so short a time,” Haneda said.
“You hit the ground running.”
