Cleaning of the nation’s capital continues under Mayor
Isko Moreno’s watch.
In an interview Moreno just admitted that he ordered
the reassignments of 9 police officers for disobeying his orders to bar street
vendors in key roads in the capital.
In an exclusive interview with ANC’s headstart,
Moreno said he asked Manila Police District chief Vicente Danao Jr. to reassign
the 9 after learning that street vendors continued to ply their trade on Recto
Avenue, Juan Luna Street and Divisoria.

Nasanay
sila na pagtalikod nun, OK na ulit. Hinde. Don't do this to me."
Manila is estimated to have at least 25,000 street
vendors operating in the city. He was quoted during the campaign period that he
will organize all the street vendors, who are often than not being blamed for
garbage and traffic congestion in the capital.
He said the city government will not allow
non-Manila residents to sell their wares on the streets of Manila.
