Opposition Senator Antonio Trillanes IV has categorically denied
allegations that the Magdalo group has ties with freelance website maker Rodel
Jayme, theowner of the webite MetroBalita.net that has been tagged responsible
for the sharing of the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” video seris which implicates the
immediate family of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and allies.
"I asked our Magdalo members and nobody knows a real person
by the name of Maru Nguyen. Moreover, nobody knows Mr. Rodel Jayme, who also
said he doesn't know any Magdalo member," the senator said in a text
message to ABS-CBN News.

Trillanes known to be one of the fierciest critic of the President
however said, "if somebody, who genuinely feared for his or her life,
approached the Magdalo and that we could offer help, we definitely would
help."
The National Bureau of Investigation
(NBI) arrested last week Rodel Jayme for allegedly sharing videos implicating
members of the first family in the illegal drug trade. Jayme admitted that he
made the MetroBalita website for Liberal Party supporters but said he did not
know anything about the videos.
The Liberal Party has denied hiring Jayme.
