The sights for the seat in Malacanang is still burning.
Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson in his exclusive interview with Karen
Davilla’s show “Headstart” in ANC, said he is not closing is doors for another
presidential bid in the 2022 Presidential elections as long as he has “a clear
chance of winning.”
Davila, asked Lacson if he is open to running for president after
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte steps down in 2022, Lacson in his reply said he
already ran for president in 2004, “I’ve been there,” he said.

In 2016 he decided not to run, because of his low numbers which
translates to low chances of winning.
"When
people talk to me about the possibility of running in 2022, ang balik ko na
lang sa kanila, I have only one requirement. I’m not closing the door but I
have only one requirement - give me a clear chance of winning,” he said in an
ANC "Headstart" interview.
"I've
become more pragmatic because after all these years in politics as a senator,
I’ve won 3 times. I’ve lost one presidential campaign. You become more
practical, you become honed," the senator added.
