“Ang advice ko sa kanila tanggapin na lang nila kung anong desisyon ng taumbayan (My advise to them is to accept the will of the people),” Pacquiao said in a presscon in Manila.

Pacquiao was reacting to the statement given by Otso Diretso campaign manager, Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan who said that the delay in the transmittal of votes to the COMELEC transparency servers casts doubts on the mid-term election results.

Pacquiao relates if he is in the same situation, he would accept the decision of the electorate.

He notes that he too suffered political defeats in the past.

No Otdo Diretso candidate made it to the Magic 12 in the partial, unofficial counts of the COMELEC and the Parish pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPRCV).
