Grace Poe vows balanced and independent Senate

She lost the 2016 Presidential elections and now she just got her fresh term as senator, except for the 4 minority members who are Liberal Party, all are allies if not going to be allies of the incumbent sitting Chief Executive – President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
After being proclaimed she vows to work for an independent and balanced Senate.

She ranked second to Cynthia Villar in the mid term election with over 22 million votes, vowed to speak up on measures/issues that would not be in the interest of the public.

The recent mid term was a referendum that the President passed with flying colors, no opposition senatorial candidate won (0-8), and 9 out of the 12 senators that were proclaimed by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) are either allied or supportive of President Duterte’s administration.
