The former Philippine National
Police (PNP) Chief is not shy in admitting that he does not know all the ins
and outs of being a lawmaker, most especially now that he is so close in
securing a senate seat.
Senatorial candidate and soon
senator Ronald dela Rosa made public his plans to seek advice and attend
lawmaking seminars if he wins a set in the Senate.
During his interview with CNN
Philippines, Bato said he would call Senators Koko Pimentel and JV Ejercito to
ask about his new position.

"Magtatawag-tawag ako kina
Koko Pimentel, JV Ejercito kung ano ba talaga ang trabaho ng senador, what do I
need to prepare," Dela Rosa said during the interview.
President Duterte’s architect of
the drug war also said that he is very much open to the idea of attending
training and seminars on the duties of a senator in lawmaking.
"Mayro'n bang mga seminar
diyan? Training para gumawa ng batas? Kung mayro'n, I will take that
opportunity," Bato Dela Rosa said.
But if the seminars were to be
held at the University of the Philippines (UP), the former PNP chief
doesn't plan to attend.
"Pag UP, hindi na 'ko
pupunta. Alanganin ako diyan," he said.
