national election, no candidate can overlook the importance of Cebu.
The province of Cebu
has over 3 million registered voters anf hold the rank of No.1 I the Top Ten
vote rich provinces in the country.
No wonder in the
recent campaign sortie of the Liberal party led opposition coalition “Otso
Diretso” the Vice President was there to lend a hand.

Vice President Leni
Robredo in her speech has called on the Cebuanos to not just vote for the Otso
Diretso ticket but also campaign for them.
"Well done, good, and firm. They are eight of us in the Senate. Last please all of you. We do not just vote for them; We are also campaigning for them (Well-bred, efficient, and principled.) These are the qualities of our eight candidates that we need in the Senate: I have a last appeal to all of you. for them), "she said at Plaza Independencia in Cebu City.
"We believe that Cebu has a strong voice for every citizen (We strongly believe that people of Cebu have a powerful voice)," she added.
The vice president
also told the crowd that she frequents the province because her office has
projects in 10 towns of Cebu.
"I am often in your province. Often my visit is quiet because we have a lot of projects in the Vice President's Office here in Cebu. We are here to visit 10 cities (I always go here in your province.) My visits here are usually no fanfare because the Office of the Vice President has many projects here in Cebu, we go to 10 towns here in Cebu) Robredo said
