Action star Robin Padilla has dared Magdalo Representative Gary
Alejano to take it upon themselves to attack the Spratly islands.
Padilla made his remark on social media where he shared a report
of Alejano who asks the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) to give the Liberal Party
led coalition- Otso diretso slate a clearance to visit the Scarborough /Panatag
shoal.
“Gayahin natin
Tausug,” said Padilla
via Instagram on April 16.
(We should
emulate the Tausugs of the Sultanate of Sulu and show China that we, the
Katipuneros, are ready to follow the footsteps of the revolutionary Tausugs).
Padilla already
asked permission from his wife Mariel and his children since they are not in
the country and that nothing is sweater than dying for one’s country.
Further he
explains that the entire Philippines should not be dragged into the issue
because the poor would be pitiful. Padilla assured the Magdalo representative that
the would follow his plan.
“Sarilinin natin
(Let’s take this upon ourselves and
attack Spratlys, let’s attack them and emulate the Tausugs. Don’t worry, I will
follow your plan because you are a former Marine, you are no doubt greater than
I am when it comes to military tactics, so let’s do this. I won’t go against
your plan, let’s embrace being heroes in this time.)
