Otso Diretso hopes for "miracle" as election day nears

Miracle – that is what  the Liberal Party led  opposition senatorial slate Otso Diretso is hoping for.
From the different surveys have shown that statistically only 2 of them have a chance in making it to the magic 12 and that possibility is slowly being diminished as the days are nearing the election day.

That is why it will take a “miracle” for the slate to succeed in the upcoming May 13 elections, Senator Bam Aquino said.

“Ngayong Mayo po naghahanap tayo ng mirakulo at ako sa puso ko, nand'yan pa rin ang paniniwala,” Aquino told reporters in Bacolod, Negros Occidental where thry are currently campaigning.
They are calling out their supporters not just to vote but also to campaign for the whole opposition senatorial slate said Aquino opposition bets Erin Tañada, Samira Gutoc, Bam Aquino and Chel Diokno, who were accompanied by Vice President Leni Robredo here.

“Baka po puwedeng gumawa rin tayo ng sarili nating kodigo para pwede nating ibigay sa ating mga kamag-anak sa mga kaibigan, katrabaho, sa mga katabi natin na bahay na hindi pa kilala yung 8,” Robredo said.
(Perhaps we can make our own voting guide that we can distribute to our relatives, friends, co-workers, and neighbors who are not yet familiar with the 8 candidates.)
“Itong nalalabing 14 na araw kailagan tayong lumabas sa ating organisasyon, pumunta sa iba-ibang sitiyo,” Tanada said.

Over the weekend, the group was in vote rich Cebu province campaigning, there Vice president Leni Robredo also asked the Cebuanos not just to vote for the Otso Diretso senatorial slate but to also campaign for their victory.
