More critics mean higher ratings, Malacanang says on Pres. Duterte's 'very good' rating in SWS survey

The recent Social Weather Stations (SWS) surveyare out and its still the same from the start of his presidency up to the present the numbers will not lie-  Filipinos are satisfied with the performance of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
With the results being made public by SWS Presidential Spokesperson and con-current Presidential Legal adviser Atty. Salvador Panelo cannot help but take a swipe at the “crab-mentality “ of the Presidents detractors, saying the more they “malign” the President, the higher the rating he gets.

“The more the critics and detractors malign PRRD (President Rodrigo Roa Duterte), the higher the rating he gets. These political adversaries are being swallowed by their own hubris. Survey after survey they are being repudiated,” he said in a statement.
The survey shows that 79% of adult Filipinos were satisfied with Duterte’s performance, equivalent to a “very good” rating.
The figure represents a 5-point increase from the 74 percent gross satisfaction in December.
Only 13 percent of adult Filipinos meanwhile said they were dissatisfied with the President’s performance, 2 points lower from the 15 percent dissatisfaction rating in December last year.
“The critics, detractors and the political opposition have been deaf to the voice of a great majority of our people and blind to the sweeping changes in the political and social landscape effected by this unorthodox, maverick and daredevil leader who is fiercely devoted to - and protective of - the interest of the greater masses of our people,” Panelo said.
Panelo has urged all the critics of the President to support all the endorsed candidates of the President this comig May elections since Duterte is “racing against time” to fulfill his campaign promises.
“Rather than continue with their hate campaign against the President they should join the majority supporting Administration's programs designed to serve and protect the nation and its citizenry and start contributing for the country’s progress,” he said.

President Duterte has maintained his high popularity among Filipinos nearly 3 years into his presidency. He won in a landslide victory in 2016 on the promise of changes in government and an intensive campaign against illegal drugs and corruption.
