The Philippines is one of the many countries that is situated in
the so called “Ring of Fire.”
The earthquake we just experienced in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao
and we are dealing it with as it is happening.
Readily the Japanese government has expressed its willingness to
help the country should it require help.

"As a country that has been tackling with earthquakes, Japan is ready to provide assistance needed by the Philippines to the extent possible. We sincerely wish for the early recovery of the disaster-affected regions," Ambassador Koji Haneda said in a statement.
In his message, Handa commiserated with the families of those who
perished in the aftermath of the recent earthquakes in the country.
"We would like to extend our sincere condolences to the
families of the deceased and express our sympathies to all those afflicted by
the recent earthquakes in Luzon and Eastern Samar," he said.
Earthquakes have rocked the country on separate occasions, one in
Luzon which have caused damages in Pampanga, one in Eastern Visayas that has
caused panic among the people and most recently the one in Davao Oriental which
was measured at 4.7.
