Yellow is
Aquino’s color
The color
has always been associated with the Aquino’s from the late Corazon Aquino down
to his son Benigno Aquino III, both colors were used in their successful bid to
Malacanang.
In 2016, Mar
Roxas gave way to Noynoy Aquino to be the standard bearer for the Liberal
Party, this was considered now as a big mistake and regretted by Roxas, as it has
associated him fully to the Aquino’s yellow.
It was a
conscious decision [to change colors] because one mistake [Roxas] made in 2016
was acting like Robin to [Aquino’s] Batman . . . and Robin will never be
Batman,” Roxas campaign manager for the 2019 mid term elections Caloocan
representative Erice said.
