Otso Diretso will be ZERO in Cebu

This predicament is a disaster for the opposition bets.

The alliance agreement between 1 Cebu party headed by Cebu representative Gwendolyn Garcia  with Davao local regional political party Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HnP) whuch was represented by nonetheless its chairman- Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte – is of great advantage to all administration backed- national/senatorial candidates.

Cebu, next to Manila has the largest population of voters, and Garcia expects a sweep for all administration bets. As per the Commission on Elections the province of Cebu has 3,082,621 voters.

Garcia vowed the senatorial candidates will not have a single Otso Diretso bet for the 12 available slots.

“We commit to deliver and show our support to the chosen senatorial candidates of HnP precisely because 1 Cebu has always supported President Rodrgo Roa Duterte and these candidates that are now were being supported by the HnP are those that would be the strong voices of the President in the Senate,” she said.

A Duterte stronghold

Garcia  note that the province of Cebu has supported the President in 2016 by delivering a 1.4 million vote margin over the second place rival- Mar Roxas who is now gunning for a senate seat.

“We will be able to deliver and manifest once again the support for Mr. Duterte through HnP and of course with the very strong partnership now between 1 Cebu and Mayor Sara Duterte,” she added.

Rep. Gwendolyn Garcia is now running for a shot at being the governor of Cebu, and will be going against Cebu Vice Gov. Agnes Almendras-Magpale.
