Russia’s Putin reiterates offer to help PH against terrorism

The terroristic attack in Jolo has been condemned by world leaders, but only the Russian president who has shown such proactive stance on the matter.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his country’s readiness to “further step up” interaction with the Philippines in fighting terrorism, this following the bloody twin bombings in a Jolo cathedral that killed 27 people and injuring dozens of others.

In the Russian leader’s official website. Putin said the Russian people share the grief of the victims’ friends and families even as expressed hope for a “prompt recovery of the injured.”
Putin also expressed shock over the “crime committed against civilians who had congregated for church services.”
The Russian president expects the mastermind and perpetrators of the treacherous bombings will be given the full punishment of the law.
“I would like to reiterate our readiness to further step up interaction with our Philippine partners in combating the terrorist threat in all its forms and manifestations,” the Russian president said.

Independent Foreign Policy

Last year President Rodrigo Roa Duterte extended his hand of friendship when he made a state visit to Moscow and has established his foreign policy which simply put “ Friend to everyone, enemies to none.”
