“Alam mo, nagkamali lang ‘yung tao pero I do not have to you know derogate others. Pero ‘yung — nasa ano mo ‘yun. Iyong nangunguna sa survey. Susmaryosep. Eh may mga tao dito na dedicated, may alam, abogado [The people made a mistake but I don’t have to, you know, derogate others. But these survey frontrunners, my goodness. We have people who are dedicated, knowledgeable, lawyers],” the president said during the birthday celebration of  Francis Tolentino in Tagaytay City.
“Pagdating sa survey, nakita mo [When you see the survey], you can only shake your head and say ‘tsk’. Well, ‘yan talaga ang gusto ninyo [that’s what you want] then you deserve the kind of government that you elect,” he added.
Duterte explains that he does not want to insult or belittle anybody. “After all, who am I to be judgmental about what they can do or what they cannot do for this country,” he said.
Lady senators Cynthia Villar and Grace Poe have topped the senatorial race based on a recent Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey. Villar is with a voter preference of 62 percent or an estimated 37 million votes while Poe obtained 60 percent of votes or 36.4 million votes.
The list also included Taguig Rep. Pia Cayetano, re-electionist Senators Sonny Angara and Nancy Binay, and former Senators Lito Lapid and Ramon Revilla Jr.
Senator Aquilino Pimentel III, former Senator Jinggoy Estrada, former Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas, Ilocos Governor Imee Marcos, and re-electionist Senator JV Ejercito also entered the Magic 12.

 3 administration bets

Senatorial candidacies of former Metropolitan Manila Development Authority chairman Tolentino, his former aide Christoper Go, and former Philippine National Chief chief Ronald dela Rosa. All three are not part of the Magic 12 as shown in the latest survey.
Duterte gave his endorsement to Tolentino, saying that he was an honest and hardworking public servant.
“So again, I am endorsing to you, not because he is a friend but of proven integrity,” the President added.
Dutertealso vouched for the integrity of his former PNP chief. “He’s fundamentally honest. Maniwala kayo. Hindi ‘yan maghingi-hingi,” he said.
