Duterte's drug war gets 'very good' on latest SWS survey




President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s flagship project gets ‘very good’ rating anew.

The all out war campaign of the Duterte administration continues to enjoy high net ratings, scoring “very good” rating based on the lates Social Weather Station (SWS) survey.

According to the 2018 SWS second quarter survey, at least 78 percent of the respondents said they were satisfied with the all out campaign to rid the country with illegal drugs.

13 percent were dissatisfied while 9 percent were undecided, resulting in a net satisfaction rating of +65 percent.

The latest numbers is a point higher compared to the same survey that was conducted last year, while 3 percent better compared to the 1st quarter of 2018 survey.

In Mindanao alone, the bailwick of Duterte, scored an “excellent” or +84 net satisfaction.

MalacaƱang on Sunday welcomed the ‘very good’ satisfaction rating on the administration’s war against drugs.

“We welcome the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showing 78% satisfaction with the Administration’s campaign against illegal drugs,”  Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque in welcoming the latest results.

“This is a testament that the drug war continues to enjoy broad support of our people’ said Roque.

Roque added that despite efforts by the different detractors to ““politicize the issue or discredit the campaign’s success.”

“Filipinos aspire for a crime-free society which can be realized by stopping the spread of criminality and fighting the scourge of drugs,” Roque said in a statement.

On the issue of tambays, Roque clarified that the President did not order the arrest of tambays.

“On the arrest of tambays as a violation of human rights, the matter has already been clarified when the President had said that he did not order the arrest of tambays, for loitering, per se, is not a crime,” he said.
