Im glad Cory can't see the current state of the Philippines- Noynoy Aquino

He is not stopping in his attacks against the Duterte administration.

Former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino had an interview with reporters at the Manila Memorial Park in ParaƱaque City, he was there to commemorate the ninth (9th) death anniversary of his mother Corazon Aquino considered by many as a democracy icon in the country.

Aquino, boldy told reporters that he is glad that her mother is no longer around to see what has happened to the Philippines.

Last week, he questioned the timing of the ascension of her predecessor Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to being the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

“Ano pa bang magagawa niya sa Kongreso sa natitirang period na ito? (What else can she do within this period)?”  Aquino said to reporters .

He notes that a few months remaining until the May 2019 mid term elections.

“Does that mean everything is impossible? Hindi. ‘Yung paspasan ‘yung sagasaan, words coming to mind, sana hindi ganun, sana we proceed in an orderly manner to discuss the merits or demerits of the proposed Charter change (Cha-cha),” Aquino said

The former President said that any Charter change must “be truly reflective of the people’s will as opposed to what a sector of the country wants” amid talks on federalism and even no-elections scenario.

Aquino also said to reporters that he too during his time pushed for constitutional amendments but he failed to do so.

He also slams the timing of the power grab done by Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and her allies when they had to do such change of leadership exactly at President Duterte’s constitutionally mandated State of the Nation Address last July 23. He claims it gave a semblance of disorder in the country in front of the public who are all watching.

“Given the problems that we have, it does not seem appropriate,” Aquino said.

The only good thing it made according to the former President is that, it showed the “true colors” of politicians, such as Arroyo who established an alliance with the Marcoses ans other accused of corruption and other wrongdoings in the past.

“At the end of the day, it’s the people who decide where we will all go to,” Noynoy Aquino said.

  6. The current state of the PHL began with your BS father by conniving with the NPA to bomb Plaza Miranda. It was made worse by your BS mother who gave away government resources to her kamaganaks. The worst was done by the BS Aquino the 3rd by stealing all the money of the national treasury.
