She’s just bidding her time,
and it seems its forthcoming.
Vice President Maria Leonor
Robredo has made it public that she is very much willing to lead the opposition
against President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and his administration.
Since the 2019 mid-term
elections is barely a year away, the political landscape in the country is
slowly changing again and as early as now it seems the opposition is fortifying
its ranks that will meet head on the administration bets for the much sought
after political positions- in the Senate, House of Representatives and for the
Local Government Units.

In a press briefing the Vice
President is presenting herself to unite all the different voices clamoring for
change and opportunity to be heard by the current administration.
iyong paniniwala na makiisa,” Robredo said.
saloobin natin,” she said.
Pero it is
iyon,” the VP added.
She emphasized that there is
a need to consolidate all the different voices to form one voice that will make
sure the message will be heard loud and clear. This is the more reason that the
political opposition should be united.
“Yong purpose lang naman
pag-unite is to have one voice.
At iyon
iyong value ng pag-u-unite ng iba’t ibang grupo,” Robredo said.
